Fine Art
My fine art practice is rooted in abstraction, material exploration, and an intuitive response to the world around me. Working across oil painting, sculpture, resin, and enamel, I explore the relationships between color, form, texture, movement, and surface.
Inspired by nature, memory, emotion, and environment, each body of work develops through an ongoing dialogue between the idea and the material. Layers of paint, carved and cast forms, resin, enamel, and gestural line work become ways of translating experiences that are often difficult to express through representation.
Across these different mediums, my contemporary fine art practice embraces experimentation, process, and discovery. The resulting abstract paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media works invite viewers to experience color, material, and form in an open-ended and personal way.
