Metal

This contemporary figurative art installation features a series of portraits printed directly onto sanded brass, using repetition and a limited two-tone palette to create rhythm, contrast, and visual drama. The repeated figures form a graphic composition across the metal surface, creating a sense of movement and continuity throughout the piece.

As light moves across the reflective brass, the imagery shifts and changes, causing the portraits to appear differently from various viewpoints. The interaction between figurative portraiture, reflective metal, and light gives the artwork a dynamic quality, allowing it to continually evolve with the surrounding space and the movement of the viewer.

Combining contemporary portraiture, experimental printing techniques, and sculptural metal surfaces, the piece explores the relationship between image, material, light, and space.
