Chutes and Ladders

Chutes and Ladders is a site-specific wall installation created for Bala headquarters, transforming leftover architectural siding into a vibrant work of contemporary art. Inspired by the playful geometry, bold forms, and nostalgic color palettes of retro design, the piece reimagines reclaimed architectural materials as a dynamic graphic composition.

Mirrors are woven throughout the installation, capturing and reflecting light as it moves across the space, creating an artwork that shifts throughout the day. Bala’s signature pink and turquoise palette adds a playful, modern energy, connecting the installation to the brand’s distinctive visual identity.

By combining reclaimed materials, bold color, geometric forms, and reflective surfaces, Chutes and Ladders turns an unexpected architectural byproduct into an immersive custom art installation that brings movement, color, and personality to the workplace.
